SWIM ACADEMY
Our swim programs follow progressive development, giving swimmers the opportunityto build skills step by step while having fun along the way.
8 - 15 yrs
LIFESAVING ACADEMY
The Lifesaving Academy teaches young swimmers water-safety awareness, rescue skills, first aid, teamwork, leadership and confidence.
15 and above
OCEAN RACERS
Our open-water swimming program is for swimmers who want to improve their technique, endurance, confidence and safety in natural water.

WHY VAMOS?
We teach confidence in the pool, confidence in the ocean and confidence in yourself.
Living beside the ocean is an incredible privilege. It's also a responsibility.
That's why we teach more than swimming technique. We teach swimmers to understand the water, recognise risks and make smart decisions — in the pool, at the beach and wherever their adventures take them.
Because a strong swimmer isn't simply someone who can swim fast or far or long.
A strong swimmer understands the water.
EXPERIENCE
Founded in 2016, VAMOS Youth brings professional swimming, coaching and lifesaving experience to children, families and swimmers in Guanacaste.
SAFETY
Safety is at the heart of evey activity at Vamos. Water safety is not an extra lesson, it's an essential part of everything we teach.
SKILLS
Swimming is a lifelong skill. So are confidence, resilience, leadership, teamwork and knowing what to do in an emergency.
FUN
Our programmes combine structured learning with games, challenges, teamwork and plenty of time in the water to make the experience fun.
MEET AUDE
Aude Lemaire-Hamel has spent much of her life in and around the water — from competitive triathlon and international lifesaving to more than a decade working as a professional lifeguard.
She founded VAMOS Youth with a simple ambition:
to give the next generation the skills, confidence and knowledge to enjoy the water safely — and help others do the same.
Today, that mission reaches children, families and swimmers throughout the Guanacaste region.
COMMUNITY YOUTH OUTREACH
VAMOS Youth is also committed to making swimming and lifesaving education accessible to children in local communities who might otherwise have limited opportunities to learn these essential skills.
Through donations and partnerships with local organisations, we help sponsor children to participate in swimming and lifesaving programmes and become ambassadors for water safety.
Your support can help us teach another child to swim.
